The SolidWorks Louisville User Group's third meeting for 2012 is coming up on Tuesday, August 7th, 6:30 - 8:30 pm at Samtec.

BACK IN LOUISVILLE AFTER A SUCCESSFUL COMPETITION:
Engineers of Tomorrow

The Engineers of Tomorrow team will be in to talk about this year’s competition and how they use SolidWorks to help them design their robot for the competition.  They placed 2nd in the St Louis Regionals and are off next to the Kentucky State Fair.

Bill Reuss of 3DVision will also be on hand for a discussion on SolidWorks Plastics: Do you design plastic parts or injection molds?  Launched in the Spring of 2012, SolidWorks Plastics software helps users predict and avoid costly manufacturing defects during the earliest stages of part and mold design.  CAE Technical Specialist Bill Reuss of 3DVision Technologies will demonstrate the capabilities of SolidWorks Plastics and how it can help Engineers and Designers improve the quality of their injection molded part designs, eliminate costly mold rework and decrease time to market for products.
